For the past 20 years throughout her career as government contracting and business development professional, Ms. Pope won and managed projects in the U.S., Africa, Latin America, Middle East, Central Asia, and throughout the former Soviet Union region.

Ms. Pope supported programs led by the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Department of State, United Nations, and U.S. Defense Logistics Agency. Some of the programs she won and managed include the U.S. Army’s Entry Control Point in Afghanistan; U.S. Air Force Counter-Narcoterrorism Technology Program Office; U.S. Army Material Command’s Counter Narcotics Global Threat; U.S. Navy Aircraft Procurement and ISR Modification in Tunisia;  U.S. Department of State Police Evidence Labs in Morocco; U.S. Department of State Force Protection in Lesotho; U.S. Department of State Inter-Agency Communication System in Honduras; U.S. Army Non-Standard Small Arms Ammunition Supply in Afghanistan; U.S. Defense Logistics Agency Shipment Tracking System; U.S. Department of Justice Supply of Personal Protection Equipment; United Nations Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) Cybersecurity Training; State of Maryland Baltimore Cybersecurity Range; and Egyptian Ministry of Defense Supply of Personal Protection Equipment.

Ms. Pope brokered distributorship agreements for a large U.S. weapons and ammunition company, a leading distance learning company, and a major heavy equipment exporter.   

In 2005, Ms. Pope spearheaded the first historic U.S. – Russia Antiterrorism cooperation by organizing U.S. delegations to Moscow and Russian delegations to Washington, DC, in support of the bilateral initiatives formed by the U.S. Congress and U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Ms. Pope provided strategic advisory on federal decisions and policies and provided consultation on federal funding and appropriations. Ms. Pope organized many congressional briefings, defense and homeland security exhibitions in Washington, DC.
